An ultimately elegant piece, this side table is in sand bleached cerused oak with hand-cast brushed brass details. The square side table has a suspended tray bottom with a chevron-patterned shelf floating on a stretcher-like frame. The side table’s veneer is chevron-patterned: carefully selected and laid by hand to highlight the oak grain’s intricate markings. The legs are hand-carved, made of quarter-sawn solid oak, and expertly sanded to taper elegantly. Since this side table doesn’t include drawers, the Bertram is best used as an occasional table next to your couch or as a handy surface to store coffee table books or magazines in a reading nook. Float it in a room to show off the double-sided coved legs or nestle it into a corner.
