There’s something we love about a landscape at an intimate scale. These petite works bring atmosphere, history, and a sense of place into a room without requiring a large wall or becoming the loudest element in it.
At KED, we use small landscapes almost like objects: tucked between books, layered above a bedside table, placed on a narrow wall, or collected together to create a more substantial installation. They’re particularly good at making a newer home feel as though its art collection has developed over time.
KED Styling Note: Don’t feel obligated to center small art on a wall. We love these pieces slightly off-center, layered into shelving, or grouped in twos and threes. That less expected placement is often what makes them feel collected.
