E-Design is an affordable alternative to our full-service design studio that’s perfect for those who live out of state or are willing to take a more hands on budget friendly approach.  Like our full-service design, an E-Design is expertly created by our design team using our signature trade sources and unique finds. If you’re willing to do a little legwork, this option gives you the best of all worlds!​

Our e-design process is simple. ​

STEP 1:  Purchase the desired room package. The package price includes the design service.  The products will be priced separately once selected.  Please, see investment sheet to determine an overall budget for your room. (The contract that I am sending will need to have a check off in order to complete check out).​

Your design package will include:​

STEP 2: Complete and submit the E-design project check list of items we’ll need to start the design process. The check list includes: ​

• Room, wall, window and doorway dimensions ​
• Photo documentation of your room and the furnishings you plan to keep​
• Existing furniture dimensions of pieces you plan to keep​
• List of items or criteria you would like us to be sure to include in your design (ie.  Please, include two swivel chairs or I would like a TV to be above the fireplace). ​
• Inspiration photos of rooms that inspire you ( utilize Pinterest, Houzz, magazines etc.)​
• (Should we create a form where you fill out your name, project address, phone number, email address, upload all of these items above)​

STEP 3: When your completed check list has been received, your KED designer will contact you to set up a 60 Min. virtual or in-showroom design consultation to discuss your budget, space constraints, and style preferences. Then we’ll get to work and in about 14 days, we’ll present a comprehensive virtual or in-showroom design presentation including:​

• A mood board concept showing all the elements of the design​
• A space plan showing placement of furnishings based on your dimensions and preferences​
• A list of design notes and helpful hints to help you install the design​
• A list of furnishings, rugs, wall paint or wall coverings, accessories, art and lighting that may be purchased at a 10% discount through Katherine Elizabeth at Home.​
• KED at Home will procure each item with care on your behalf. The delivery service will contact you directly to schedule a time for you to receive your items.​
• You can move forward with your beautifully designed room at your pace and as your budget allows.. Please note pricing of specified furnishings are good for 15 days . *The E-design service does not include an in-home visit or verification of room dimensions and includes 1 round of revisions prior to ordering.​
