Tonight, you're learning technique from a florist whose work has been commissioned by luxury brands around the world: hands-on, guided step by step by Promiti Prosun of Fleur + Form. You'll leave with more than a one-of-a-kind arrangement: the skills to create your own, in the modern style Fleur + Form has become known for.

Long before she was a florist, Promiti spent her career shaping brands, and it shows in how she reads a room, a season, a mood. She's the founder and designer behind Fleur + Form, the Barrington studio whose work has found its way into collaborations with Ferrari, Burberry, and Bvlgari, among others.

This workshop leans into the season: deep, moody stems, unexpected textures perfect for October. Promiti will walk through her process live, share the trade secrets that make an arrangement feel considered rather than assembled, and get you hands-on with your own.

Together, we’ll cover:

• Selecting and preparing premium blooms
• Color balance, form, and composition techniques
• Designing with movement and negative space
• Insider tips for long-lasting arrangements

The evening: Arrive at 5:30 for shopping around the boutique, small bites, and conversation. The hands-on workshop runs 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and you'll leave with an arrangement you built yourself, styled the way Promiti styles hers.

Join artist and educator Kathleen Rietz for a hands-on evening inspired by the organic shapes, colors, and imperfections of autumn leaves. Using collected leaves as both templates and inspiration, Kathleen will guide you through tracing, painting, layering, and composition to create an original piece of seasonal artwork entirely your own.

Kathleen is a Chicago-area mixed media artist and longtime educator whose work is rooted in observation, experimentation, and the natural world. Her approach makes art feel accessible and intuitive, giving you the freedom to play with color, shape, and composition without worrying about getting it "right."

This workshop starts with Kathleen demonstrating her process live, from translating the shape of a leaf onto paper to building color, depth, and movement through paint. Then it's your turn. You'll work alongside her to develop your own composition, with plenty of individual creative time and guidance along the way. No previous painting experience is needed.

The evening: Arrive at 5:30 for shopping around the boutique, a welcome beverage, small bites, and conversation. The hands-on workshop runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., ending with a chance to see everyone's finished work. You'll leave with an original autumn piece created by you and ready to enjoy throughout the season.
