Palette Preview – Be among the first to see KED’s vision for the year ahead. From soft neutrals to layered warmth, we’ll share the shades, finishes, and design moods that are inspiring our team and shaping our upcoming projects.

Texture Bar – Experience the tactile side of design with curated samples of fabrics, finishes, and materials that bring these new palettes to life. Mix, match, and experiment—discover combinations that speak to your own style and sense of home.

Sip & Savor – Enjoy champagne and light bites as you browse the boutique and connect with our designers. Leave with fresh ideas (and maybe a few finds) to start the new year beautifully.

Two Evenings. Limited Seats. Endless Fun.

We’re bringing one of the most talked-about games back into the spotlight—and into the KED at Home showroom.

Join us this January for two intimate Mahjong classes led by local instructor Crystal Pepper, designed to welcome beginners and elevate those ready to play with confidence. These evenings are part lesson, part social hour, and very much a KED experience—beautiful surroundings, light refreshments, and time to shop before play begins.

Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly.

Meet Your Instructor: Crystal Pepper

Crystal Pepper brings her love of connection, community, and tradition to everything she teaches. After completing multiple Mahjong training modules and attending classes nationwide, she’s been teaching Mahjong privately in the Barrington area for the past year. The response has been so enthusiastic that Crystal will be opening a Mahjong and needlepoint lounge in early 2026.

A Barrington resident since 2014, Crystal and her husband Jake (also a Mahjong enthusiast) are raising their three sons here—and helping bring Mahjong back as a modern social ritual, one tile at a time.
